Proficiency Test Parameters

Description

Waters of different nature, driking water/ continental, and of natural origin are used with neutralization of the present biocide. In these, when necessary, its initial load will be checked, on which contamination with reference strains will be made to achieve accounting levels of the requested microorganisms, or ensure the Detection/No detection, as appropriate. The Reference Value will be obtained as the Consensus Value of the participants, if it is safe. Otherwise, the origin of the mentioned value (previous value) will be informed. The results are requested by culture, obtained by the different treatments submitted to the sample and the final result for said sample.

The distribution of parameters, and thus the number or amount of sample containers may vary slightly from those shown in the original design, guaranteeing the necessary or equivalent amount for the test.
